“Mistycool” is the theme of the second Capsule Collection that Andrea Rosso, the Creative Director of 55DSL, has chosen to produce together with the graphic artist Calvin Kwok, finalist of the contest “Cut&Paste”: the first contest dedicated to Digital 2D Design, and its final round will take place in New York, where the international winner will be chosen.

Among the many charity organisations, why did you choose to give your support to OrphanAid Africa? What struck you about the project?
I’ve always been concerned with the problems facing children and five years ago, when Lisa Lovatt-Smith told me about her project in Ghana, I realized I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to help children in need. I was going through a period when I needed to figure out what was really important, and two weeks later I found myself in Ghana cutting out coloured paper masks. When I came back to Europe I decided to create OrphanAid Italy.
