Since 2005, the mission of Established & Sons has been to convey the excellence of British design by manufacturing production pieces as well as limited editions that are both functional and yet as elegant as works of art. In just a few short years, the Established & Sons collections have conquered the international Design Week circuit. Their yearly appearance at La Pelota in via Palermo has become one of the not-to-be-missed dates of Milan’s Fuorisalone: a chance to discover emerging designers, while admiring the creations of well-known names like Zaha Hadid and Jasper Morrison. Founder Alishdair Willis – one of the minds responsible for the extraordinary success of Wallpaper* Magazine, the design bible that revolutionized the sector in the Nineties – has managed to balance modernity with tradition while adding a touch of British eccentricity.
The irony of Convex Mirrors, the disarming simplicity of the Crate bedside tables, the versatility of the Torch Light lamp or the Two Timer clock, together with the almost extreme technology of the Pole Light, give a comprehensive range of the variety of styles and skillful experimentation that the brand has become known for.

In celebration of its partnership with yoox.com, Established & Sons turned to the artists Harry Richardson and Clare Page, who work under the name Committee in producing objects that mix art and design, while displaying a creative way of reusing preexisting items and materials. Bits & Bobs, for example, is a hold-all cube designed in both silver and gold versions and whose purposely confusing shape comes from the careful pairing of elements that might seem unrelated. These items have been created for the launch of the Established & Sons online store and the 24 pieces limited edition is available on yoox.com shop-in-shop. Yet another example of the kinds of intelligent, ironic objects that have become synonymous with the brand Established & Sons.
