The eclectic duo of artists, performers, musicians and fashion designers, Chicks on Speed presents their new album and embarks on a not-to-be.-missed worldwide tour. In this exclusive video interview, they talk to The New Yooxer about their latest projects and their passion for music and fashion.
In the last two years we’ve seen them busy with installations, performances, video, and fashion collections. Now they’re launching “Cutting the Edge”, their absolutely innovative fifth album featuring unusual sounds recorded from curious locations like hotel rooms, trains, and bathrooms, as well as the use of “Objekt Instruments” – musical instruments that have been created ad hoc and that combine the concepts of art, design and new media. In the words of the Chicks themselves, “Experimentation has never been so Pop!”
