M MISSONI FOR ORPHANAID AFRICA – LAUNCH EVENT
Solidarity has no boundaries: in this day and age, a young international trendsetter and an historic fashion house of “Made in Italy” fame can come together to aid a non-profit organization benefiting children in Ghana, all coming to a head at a special launch event in the fashion capital of America.
yoox.com hosted this event on November 15th at the Bowery Hotel in New York City to celebrate Margherita Maccapani Missoni’s new capsule collection for M Missoni, created specially to benefit OrphanAid Africa, and online exclusively on yoox.com.
Guests at the NYC event were invited to contribute to the cause by purchasing paper bills with the same pink and red zigzag motif as the collection – a concrete way to contribute to the project and a unique souvenir of the memorable evening. Proceeds will go towards OrphanAid Africa.
OrphanAid Africa (OA) is a non-profit organization developing programs and projects to help vulnerable children and their families in Ghana, West Africa.
