If Andy Warhol were still alive, he would definitely have been one of the special guests attending Jeremy Scott’s fashion show for Moschino. The maison’s new creative designer just launched the capsule collection “Fast Fashion – Next Day After The Runway” made of 10 pieces available exclusively online on moschino.com “Powered by YOOX Group”. Starting February 21, the capsule collection will be available in Moschino’s stores and in a few selected boutiques.

  • Andy Warhol managed to bring supermarket shelves into art museums around the world. Jeremy Scott, the new pop icon, decided to play with the fast-food/fast-fashion metaphor in a collection with dominating colors red and yellow. He revisits the Moschino logo, personalizing leather shoulder bags, a belt, a hoodie, an oversized t-shirt and a wool maxi-pullover with a hint that recalls of the famous fast food.

  • The must “off the runway” pieces are a t-shirt that spells “I Do Speak Moschino” and a maxi dress with Mr Funtastik cartoon prints inspired to the snack packagings of fast-food generation. Lastly, a nylon and leather back pack is printed with an iPhone cover design called “French Fry Case”, illustrated single portions of take-away French fries.

  • “The collection is delicious, bright and colorful and makes you hungry, which is supercool,” says Staz, Scott’s muse and model while she comments on the capsule collection during a “fast chat.” “I’m 21, I’m from L.A. and I’m a big fan of french fries, fast food and Moschino!” she adds.
